Special pricing when you buy the Michigan data set and Michigan Health Market Review 2024. Usually $250 plus $160, subscribe to both for $375. The 2023 Michigan Health Market Data Set is made up of Excel spreadsheets that contain multiple years of detailed data on the financial, enrollment and inpatient utilization of health plans and hospitals in the state. The health plan data are drawn from NAIC annual statements, state supplements and CMS downloads for 2021 and previous years. Later this year, we will add updated files 2022 data on hospitals, Medicaid enrollment by county. The package consists of two zip files to download when you purchase. The first contains the data set. An Excel file containing updated hospital data from Medicare cost reports for 2023 will be added to the data set.

First published in 1997 and now in its 28th year, Michigan Health Market Review 2023 analyzes the health care payer and provider markets in the state. The reports provide a comprehensive and objective analysis of strategies and key trends for the health insurers and provider systems in Michigan.  Part One is available now and Part Two will be sent to you when it is released later this eyar. Part One presents our analysis of the health insurers, their financial performance, enrollment and market share. The report also show the impact of the “Great Undwinding of Medicaid recipients that began in mid-2023.
